Hearing Tests
We test your hearing and explain clearly how healthy your hearing is. Our test procedures are thorough and exceed all the required standards. Audiometery, including air conduction, bone conduction and masked tests are to ISHAA standard but we also check the Acoustic Reflex and do Tympanometery testing to assess your hearing more accurately and in greater detail. These tests are rarely done by other audiology and hearing aid firms.

Hearing Aid Prescriptions
If you have a prescribable hearing loss and need hearing aids we have technology from the world’s leading manufacturers to suit you. We prescribe what is appropriate and best for our patients taking into account all circumstances from audiology results to lifestyle.

All Make Repairs
No matter where you got your hearing aid we will repair it for you. Call into our clinics and we may be able to resolve an issue without charge there and then. If a repair requires a trip to the lab we can normally get a repair back to you within 3 days (by return via express parcel post)

Tinnitus Services
Tinnitus is a mysterious and elusive condition which can cause extreme distress. We provide counseling services and, where appropriate, allow you to trial the latest tinnitus masking technology and assess your suitability for prescriptive fittings. If you are told “Nothing Can Be Done With Tinnitus”… call to us immediately. We will help.

Hearing Protection
If you are a Musician, Music Lover, Shooter, Industrial Worker, Water Sports Enthusiast or are involved in other activities which put stress on your ears or hearing you may avail of our comprehensive range of hearing protection products. Even if your partner is an excessive snorer we have ear buds which will help you.

At The Hearing Clinic we understand hearing and we will help you understand yours. If it is your hearing, or the hearing of a relative or friend about whom you are concerned, we will listen, advise and help.

'The Hearing Clinic' warrants that all hearing tests, procedures and practices of the company and its staff conform to the highest clinical standards as detailed in the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists Code of Professional Conduct and the European Communities (Medical Devices) Regulations 1994 (adopted in the Republic of Ireland on the 14th of June 1998 under S.I. No 252 of 1994).

The Code of Professional Conduct and the EU Medical Devices Regulation specify that the prescribing of 'custom made' hearing aids and Inserts/Moulds should only be made for a patient in accordance with a prescription of a person authorized by virtue of his or her professional qualifications to do so. All devices fitted by 'The Hearing Clinic' are made in accordance with the EU Directive and in full compliance with the I.S.H.A.A. Code of Professional Conduct.
